Hermes Award 1998

Prefamac received the HERMES award for company policy as best Belgian production company of the year 1998.

The Hermes award - named after Hermes, the Greek God of commerce and fluency - was presented by His Royal Highness Prince Philip of Belgium and Mr. Pinxten, Belgian Minister of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises at the time being.

Prefamac was honoured with this award mainly for past export performance, but also for its excellence in the areas of production, management, marketing, finance and administration.

The contest was organized by the Flemish Chambers of Trade, in cooperation with BNP Paribas Fortis Bank, Ernst & Young, the written press (Knack, Trends, De Tijd and the Streekkrant), several TV stations (TNCC, Electrabel and 2002), and a number of organizations representing self-employed management (UNIZO, SVMB, and VIZO).

The management and personnel of Prefamac were very pleased with this award, and have taken opportunity to thank all their customers, suppliers and business partners, for their contribution to this achievement.
