In 2003, Prefamac was nominated for the “Lion of the Export”, and this mainly because of its extraordinary export performances.

The ‘Lion of the Export’ is a prestigious annual award, organized by Flanders Investment and Trade (the Flemish Agency for International Business, or shortly FIT), recognizing Flemish companies that combine impressive export achievements with a durable and socially-involved strategy.

A company winning the ‘Lion of the Export’, has proven itself by fulfilling a model role in Flemish export. As export is vital to Flanders’ economy, this award not only honors the best performer in export, but is also a stimulus for other companies to target international markets.

The ‘Lion of the Export’ brings a company both national and international recognition.
